A Victorian Christmas at Turton Tower
On the evening of December 12th 2017, Mrs Worrall was invited to take the choir to sing at Turton Tower as part of their “Victorian Christmas” evening. The children dressed in Victorian costumes and sang traditional carols to entertain visitors throughout the evening. The children enjoyed themselves hugely, and their work was very well received, as you can see from the letter below:
“Dear Mrs Worrall,
Ally and myself would just like to express our gratitude for all your hard work preparing the choir for last night and please pass on our thanks to all of the members of the choir for their splendid performances.
Their work last night, the quality of their singing and the entertainment they provided throughout the evening was really well received by all and made the whole event something really special.
Thanks also to Mrs Wilkinson for all her support and efforts on our behalf.
The kids are an absolute credit to the school and we would love to work with them in the future.
Very best wishes for a peaceful and happy Christmas from Ally and Steve
